It was a cold stormy night I had a five mates over we were watching the conjuring 2. All of a sudden the power went out so I went to check the electricity box but everything seemed fine. As I walked back through the door I felt like I was being watched. I walked through my hall way and the painting seemed to be watching me all the way down the hall way.

I was back in the living room and 2 of my mates were dead. Only three of us were left. Then we heard a voice only one shall live to see the morning light. I went to my weapons room and grabbed a pistol and a assault rifle. Then out of now where one of my mates jumped out of nowhere and I shot them. Then my closest friend come around the corner and I was real nervous. He just stared at me. I told him I didn't mean to kill her But he was going to call the police so I had no choice.

I killed him. I then was awoken by a sudden movement. I seen all my mates around me. I said am I dead they said no. I had just been electrocuted and passed out when I had checked the electricity box. I told them all about the nightmare I just had. They comforted me and then when the power came back on we all played mine craft.

Banana DNA extraction experiment

Aim: To find a method online, then successfully extract DNA strands from a banana.


Equipment:

• 1/2 peeled ripe banana (you can also use strawberries or other fruit)
• 1/2 cup hot water
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp liquid dishwashing soap
• resealable zip-top bag (quart size)

• very cold rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) placed in freezer ahead of time
• coffee filter
• narrow glass
• wooden stirrer

Method: 

Extracting DNA in 10 Easy Steps

1. Mush the banana in the resealable bag for about a minute until all the lumps are gone and it almost looks like pudding.
2. Fill a cup with the hot water and salt.
3. Pour the saltwater mix into the bag. Close the bag and very gently squeeze and move the saltwater and banana mush together. Do this for 30 to 45 seconds.
4. Add the dishwashing soap into the bag and gently mix the contents. Try to avoid making too much foam.
5. Place the coffee filter in a clear glass cup, securing the top of the filter around the lip of the cup.
6. Pour the mix into the filter and let it sit until all of the liquid drips down into the cup.
7. Remove and discard the used coffee filter.
8. Tilt the glass and slowly add cold alcohol down the side of the cup. You want the alcohol to form a layer on top of the banana mix, staying separated, so be careful not to pour it too fast. Make a layer of alcohol that is 2.5-5cm (1-2in) thick.
9. After the alcohol layer is set up, wait for eight minutes. You may see some bubbles and cloudy material moving around in the alcohol. This is the DNA pieces clumping together.
10. Use the wooden stirrer to start poking the cloudy stuff in the alcohol layer. Spin the stirrer it in place to start gathering the cloudy stuff. When you are done, take a closer look at the stuff on the stirrer. You are looking at DNA!

The Adventure Of Mecha-Turtle

I once was an ordinary turtle slow and weak. It took me an hour to travel a 1000 metres. That was until one day I woke up I felt weird. My shell felt heavier than normal. I started to move my head to look behind me and there was weird shaped pieces of metal in my shell. I decided it was about time to get something to eat. I thought to myself I cant be bothered waiting an hour for food but there was no other food sources close by. so I had to wait an hour. I started moving quite fast then faster and FASTER. I was at my food spot in 20 minutes. I didn't take me an hour like usual I was no ordinary turtle, I was a fast turtle.


I now knew that I should show off my power to all my friends but then decided not to they might get jealous of my new ability. All of a sudden I heard another turtle screaming for help. I now had power I speed over there within seconds my pal was getting attacked by a wolf I went as fast as I could, then swooped my friend out of the wolf deadly trap. Then my friend oh wait I haven't introduced him yet his name is Matthew. any way back to the story. Matthew was shocked he said how did you do that. I told him that I didn't know and that I woke up with this power. I told Matthew not to tell anyone and not to get jealous. Matthew then said you should tell every one you could be the super......


.....Turtle. I was now the most powerful turtle in the world. I was now pronounced king of the turtles. I was now the most known, most powerful and most popular turtle in the world. I had done so many missions but there was one extreme one I was about to go one that may make me get killed. But I had to do it. I was there facing a wolf pack. They all come at me and I went as fast as I could but then I got caught. I thought I was dead but I was woken to my own scream of terror it turns out it was all a dream and I was still and slow ordinary turtle.

Introduction
Interland is for digital citizen it helps you keep safe on the internet.. I have been learning how the game can give you information about how to stay safe online.We also played this game and had a look at the content it offered and the design of the game. the game was made of four amazing levels.

Reflection
Interland is an amazing game created by google to make you internet awesome. It is up out of four easy levels teaching all about different aspects of internet safety. It is a great game I definitely recommend it
level 1 The first level I played was Kind Kingdom and it was an extraordinary level. It taught you all about how you should be kind to other and treat them how you like to be treated. It also was fun because you got to take out the haters with a speaker which represents you speaking up for the person who is getting bullied or cyber bullied. the level was great and the design was even better it was a nice green colour. I loved how you had to collect hearts and emojis to the people who were sad to make them feel better. I also liked how you got achievements through out the game because it make you feel good. I think to make the level better is to make the level a bit longer and have more things to achieve.
level 2  I also really like the level called Reality River. this level taught you a bunch of stuff about safety on the internet. It taught you all about what a scammer and a phisher was. This level was based on answering questions about scammer and phishers. I liked the how the red and the blue of the river went really well together. I also really liked how each question gave you three chooses to chose from. What I really like though is that if you get a question wrong you fall in the river and the game also doesn't reset you it puts you back where you were. I think this level could also be a bit longer. This game could also be made better by adding a few more controls instead of just clicking the answers or after getting over the river you should go on a adventure trying to defeat a scammer or a phisher.
level 3 Tower of Treasure was a great map but annoyed me a little because sometime when you jumped over a object it jumped late and you you get set back and lose a couple letters. I like dhow it taught you about keeping your password safe and difficult to guess. In this level you went on an adventure to gather letter, numbers and symbols to make your password as difficult as possible. I also like how it gave you a few options to chose and it doesn't give you a password. I also like how after each steps it got a bit faster. I think that the colour they used for the level was a a bit dull compared to the other levels and I didn't really like the yellow they used for this level. I think to improve this level they should make less obstacles and the controls a bit easier.
level 4 Mindful Mountain wasn't my favorite level but it is still an important one. What I thought the level was about was to be safe about sharing things on social media because some people won't see the same way you do. You might find something funny which could be offensive to someone else. I really liked the bright blue they used in this level. I like how you used a laser to line up to people. I think the laser represent when it gets to people phones and how quickly it gets shared around. I think to make this level was to make it easier to line the laser up with the mirror that it reflects off. I think they should make the controls a little bit easier.

In art we have been learning about tone, proportion and composition. We have also been looking at an amazing artist Michael mew and his in credible art work. When we were learning about tone we did some shapes and tried to make them look 3d even though they were 2d. In proportion we had to draw birds part start of with basic lines and shape. When I first started proportion I didn't really like but then my turned out really good. I think proportion is a good skill to use when drawing.
